Merry Christmas from the Post Family

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope all is well with you and yours.

Isn't technology a wonderful thing? We decided to send an e-Christmas Card this year. And, instead of using a ton of paper to share our "Christmas Letter", I am putting it on this blog. If you wish to print it off, please feel free. Recycled crafting has rubbed off on me. I guess this is a version of conservative environmentalism.

So, how is the Post Family? Well, Tim is still working at UL. He is a Project Handler II requesting tests and writing reports on 'hi-tech' items. I used to work there and I still don't completely understand what he does. When he doesn't have a project to work on he has worked on special projects using his programming skills to help systems run smoother within UL.

When Tim isn't at work, he still is involved with sailing. He went on several day sails this year with his partner Monica and a race in Skamakawa which I also attended. Needless to say the one race I chose to go to was very wet and windy. Tim had a blast though.

We have also started playing a lot of Rock Band/Rock Band 2 on the XBox 360. Even though it's a video game, it has turned into a family game time. Tori has definitely inherited Tim's and my musical abilities and loves to 'rock out' and 'jam' with Mom and Dad. I have a feeling she will be a percussionist when she's older....but that's just my guess. You can see a video of Tori playing the Rockband drums in our family photo album.

Tori is growing up so quickly. It doesn't help that she WANTS to grow up as fast as she can, even at just over two-and-a-half years old. She loves coloring, 'helping' Dad cook, playing with Playdough, and above all reading. It appears that she is going to be as much of a bookworm as Tim - which is great. All though I stay home with Tori, she still goes to daycare once a week so she can socialize with kids her own age. We also go to Yaya and B-Pa's during the week so Tori can play at the park if the weather is nice.

I left UL in November of 2007. I worked at HP testing printers for a short time after that before taking the dive into trying to work for myself and staying home with Tori. I am using my videography skills to be a freelance photographer and videographer and started my own business called Crimson Cat Creations. I am also selling homemade crafts and keeping a blog. If you are interested in more of what I do, you can visit my business site.

You may have gone to the CJ and TJ site and found that it is no longer there. We did some shuffling of web sites and started using Picasa to host a family photo album. In the photo album you will find pictures and video of the family over the last year. It's so easy to use that there are already pictures and video from the storm this week.

Please feel free to leave a comment below. We'd love to hear from you.

Again, have a wonderful Christmas and new year.

Cathe and Tim - Wonderful Christmas Letter! Its always so nice hearing from you. =-)

Jon and I always remember your marriage advice: The first two years are the hardest, and be sure to talk about EVERYTHING because communication is key. Thank you for being such a great couple! I love your 30-10-5 theme!

Merry Christmas! =-D
